My parents TV is starting to go out in their living room. I want to get them another one for Christmas. I do not do Black Friday and was going to buy one on Cyber Monday, but found this on sale tomorrow.

Reviews and/or thoughts?

Well, the TV listed is $650. I want to keep it under $800 and a 60".

LG makes great TV's and 120Hz, so for the price, yes it's a solid TV.

Thanks. I can't find any online reviews at all. Not even on Amazon.

It's the right size and price. If they have better deals going forward, I don't see them being too much better than this one.

One last bump before I go buy it in the morning. Or any comparable TVs?

Seems solid. I just bought this one, and it's amazing. I little more expensive, but I've always bought Sony tvs.

Has anyone seen a similar/better deal for a solid brand (LG, Vizio, Samsung) available ONLINE for black friday or Cyber monday?

Just bought the vizio that is on sale at SAMs today.
49"
Smart tv
1080p, 240 hz
$488 after tax, free shipping.

Didn't think I would find a better deal on a tv with these specs. At least not with having to wait hours in line. This is for my bonus room. So not my main tv anyway.

I ended up not getting it today. I saw an ad for a 60" 240hz Vizio for only $900 (Reg $1600) so I figured this Sams deal would be around for a while.

Vizio is decent but I'd go with the LG personally. Had a Vizio go out after 2 years of normal use (granted this was 4 or 5 years ago), but I've never been super excited about any of them.

Id pick the LG over a Vizio too. I was moreless pointing out that the LG was on sale for a couple hundred off while the Vizio was $600 off regular price. I dont want the cheapest TV, but will wait a bit longer.

If you're talking about the LG plasma, it should be noted that when everyone was still making them, LG was the distant last choice largely due to poor black levels, IIRC. Basically, LG had all the plasma disadvantages and not much of the thing that made plasma PQ so much better than LCD (LED).
