I can not for the life of me after 31 years figure this out. Only thing that gets cold on me! 1200gram boots and a pair of bass pro wool socks! Either i wear too many socks and sweat then freeze. Or dont wear but one pair and freeze. My feet do tend to sweat on a daily basis. How do i fix cold toes

I am right there with ya. It sucks.

Loosen your laces to increase circulation, use toe warmers, or neoprene socks. That's what works for me.

Layer your socks....thin dress sock and then a good wool sock....and yes do not lace your boots tight.

I hunted Arkansas last weekend and it was about 30 deg every morning. My entire body felt fine and I was loving the weather and the crisp air, but my feet were absolutely frozen. Was wearing 800 thinsulate Rocky boots with Merino Minus 33 socks and my feet were freaking frozen. I am invested in a pair of remote controlled Thermacell heated foot insoles for duck season. I will be so excited tomorrow for geese I wont be able to feel my feet anyway.

I don't have particularly sweaty feet, but I've heard some people swear by using spray on anti perspirant on their feet to keep them from sweating. Might be worth a shot.

I'm in the same boat. I have never been able to keep my feet warm. I even keep my shoes on in the house all the time.

Box stand?

When you get in the box take off your shoes and socks and rest them upom some hot hands. I used to go the stand with all the 27,000 grain thinsulate boots and complain about my feet..... then i noticed my FIL going to the stand in tennis shoes. He told me thats what he did, I tried it and it worked.

If we had to track a deer we would go back to the camp and get our boots.

That knob on the far right usually will take care of it.

I have fought this problem many years. Didnt matter if i was in water duck hunting or a deer stand, my feet would freeze. For years i kept putting on more and more socks thinking this was most logical. WRONG! One morning I was going stand in water and the temp was about 19 degrees. I said to hell with it Im just going to wear my favorite pair of dress socks (so thin you can almost see through them) and see what happens. I threw one hand warmer in each and BINGO! My feet never got cold one time that morning. Since then all I wear is those dress socks. Started reading up on this and some times people feet sweat too much in other fabric socks which in turns makes your feet way way colder.

dress socks

Yep. All I wear are gold toe fluffies. Still get cold but better than with thick socks.

Correct. Gotta give them puppies room to breathe. I have bad circulation from one vice or another, so my feet get cold. Wool socks and loosened laces fixed my problems

Avoid cotton, use a good base layer of thin Merino wool socks or Smart wool and then your boots.
