This will be the complete collapse of the Landrieu family with this report. Mary Landrieu will feel the fallout from Mitch's inaction in fixing the NOPD.

Mitch already "retired" the last police chief so he's covered.

According to the seven-page document released Wednesday by the city's Office of Inspector General, a 2-year-old was brought to a hospital emergency room after an alleged sexual assault.

Tests would show the toddler had a sexually transmitted disease, the report said. The detective in the case wrote in his report that the 2-year-old "did not disclose any information that would warrant a criminal investigation and closed the case," the inspector general's report said.

The detective -- identified only as "Detective A" -- is one of five officers whose reports were examined in the investigation. Only nine detectives worked in the special victims unit during the period that was investigated.

Can't say I'm really surprised. Mostly idiots working for the NOPD but on the other hand who in their right mind would be a cop in New Orleans.

These are the same guys that got into a shoot out with state police while defending their loot during Katrina. Nothing has changed.

Obviously you are referring to a DNA culture, and obviously you didn't read the article.

SINCE THE DETECTIVES NEVER DID ANY, EVER!

(Disclaimer: DNA Culture is not a real term, but I was reaching)

As they should be. This is hideous, heinous, and takes lethargy, complacency, negligence, and malfeasance in the department to a new low, even for the NOPD, a department synonymous with corruption.
