We all know that Robinson might never see the field again so this kid will probably step in and start right away. The question is how good is this kid really? Is he as good as Patrick Peterson? Tre white?

I think he's the next Patrick Peterson.

Better then Tre White coming out of high school. He is pat pete esq. Physical freak and has been the top corner in the country for his classification for years. He is not only a stud at playing corner but has the physical attributes to be physical or run deep with a receiver. He will start/have significant playing time from day 1.

Seems to me that he has some good coaching up to now, so I'll venture a guess that he's "above average" on technique coming in.
He certainly has the physical attributes and athleticism.
(from other postings): seems no one questions his effort on the field or off.
So the potential is to be very good early, great soon after. Somewhat conditional on the D overall and especially the DLine (QB pressure is a DB's best friend). Hence, DBU should make that an advantage vs. a liability.

Excellent in coverage but will need to be more physical if he expects to contribute day one. No knock on KT, but I think McFadden is the better player as of now.

I've seen him absolutely maul wr at the line of scrimmage, he is an athletic freak and extremely physical. Should push for playing time immediately, and get it sooner rather than later.
Just watched a senior highlight video, and idk how he dropped under some of the guys ahead of him.
He presses well, he plays zone well, and he has great ball skills.
Seems more polished than a lot of CB coming out of high school.

That's high praise and good to hear

which is good for the unit as a whole. They routinely push each other

I can't get over how big he looks. There is a pic of him standing next to the OLB from Texas and KT looks way bigger than him. I am shocked how fluid he is being as big as he is.

Has he been playing this year or has he been hurt? I haven't heard his name mentioned regarding his senior season.

Even so, I think we are fine at CB, depth-wise. Also, I don't think we are done recruiting more CB this year.....and I think that R. Gage is still better with the ball in his hands so offense may not be ruled out at this time.

Kevin Toliver 6-1 190 fr***

Not done with cb's we still have a legit shot with donte jackson and according to jimmy smith, garret taylor (top 100 recruit) who he says may be our next commit

A lot of uncertainty at CB heading into next season. Jalen Collins could go pro, D.Thomas coming back from a knee injury, and Rashard Robinson possibly kicked off team.

X Lewis going to play corner or safety? He has great ball skills!

He is a monster....
He's 1 of those rare prospects that come along where it doesn't matter what upper classmen are ahead of him... He's getting on the field 1 way or another.
