Let's talk about UCLA crashing the top 4 as a two loss Pac 12 champ

They have an argument if Arizona beats Arizona State.

UCLA wins out (two remaining games USC, Stanford). With ASU losing to 'Zona then UCLA gets a rematch with Oregon in the Pac 12 title game. UCLA wins.

UCLA then has wins over Oregon and Arizona State (currently top 6 teams) and has beaten Arizona (currently top 15). Their non-conference is better than the hypothetical Big 12 champs (Texas, 6-3 Memphis, Virginia).

With that slate and those wins I'd put UCLA in the top 4. Hell, those wins are better than anything FSU is going to have.

It's laughable that they're ranked 11 as it is.

Beating Oregon and Arizona State is better than any win Ohio State, FSU, Baylor, and TCU will have.

If another 2007 happens, sure.

In front of a handful of 1-loss teams... nah.

Yeah, not likely - but the side of me that loves a crazyass, quote-rich Mora family meltdown wants this controversy.

I don't see them getting in over a 1 loss Big 12 champ. The Big 12 doesn't have a conf. championship game. The only reason UCLA would get a victory against a team that previously beat them (Oregon) is because the Pac 12 plays an extra game. I don't think the committee is going to punish a 1 loss Big 12 champ just because they don't have that extra game to potentially boost their resume.

UCLA has not been impressive this year. Oregon and ASU have looked good. Think the SEC gets a second team in before a two loss UCLA gets in.

FSU has not been impressive this year. How'd UCLA do against ASU?

Why are they putting these rankings out
They need one poll and that's after the season is complete. All they are doing is setting themselves up for controversy and how can you move this team up 10 spots and drop this team.

No way Oregon should have bumped FSU, FSU non conf schedule includes Fla, Okla St and Notre Dame, there not playing patsies.
