dam you football gods
Per bleacher report. Seeking out a 2nd opinion but appears to be out for remainder of season. Just when the LB core was getting heatlhy . Smith back today and Bowman due at practice after last years horrific leg injury in the NFCCG.
Good thing Chris Borland is a beast and has 35,000 tackles the last two games.
Next man up.

This season has been the most brutal from an injury stand point that I can remember. Hopefully guys can keep stepping up.

Agreed. I thought the last couple years were bad with the crabtree , Cowboy, manningham, Hunter injuries.
This year has been brutal.
Luckily they have a deep squad because these types of injuries to all-pros and starters would sink an average roster.

Great coaching and a deep squad will be a decent bandaid.

Not many teams can lose their best defensive players like you guys and still be competitive. Its amazing that London Fletcher never missed a game as a MLB.

Fawk. At least Borland has been a beast.

That said the outcome of any playoff push still remains on the offense

And we still could only score 24 points at home vs basically you alls 2nd string defense

It's a testament to the guys in the locker room that the wheels havent fallen off defensively. Lynch and Borland have been huge in their time on the field. Ian Williams deserves some credit too. They have some reinforcements coming at least.
Offensively they need to pull their collective heads out of their asses. Roman nweds to stop getting cute in short down and distance situations

Yet lost to the Bears....
Granted that was more about the turnovers and QB mistakes than the defense

Just let me grieve, dood.

But, seriously, kudos to your team for pushing on. Tough situation for them this season.

Lynch and Borland have been playing at starter type levels. Especially Borland who looks almost as good as Bowman IMO.

When Skuta and Smith get back into the rotation the LB corps should still be solid, hopefully Bowman can contribute. I was assuming Willis would come back in a week or two and that Bowman would have more time to rest up, don't want to rush it with a talent like his.

Experience drop off is my biggest concern.

Harbraw must be letting them play cards on the team flights now.

They have a ping pong table in the locker room... I don't think cards on the plane was ever an issue.
Injuries have hurt them more than a disgruntled player no longer on the roster.

Yeah I was being facetious. Looks like depth might come in handy for a playoff run.

Ooooooh you.

They control their own destiny. Sea twice, AZ at seasons end(home) and some very winnable games vs NYG and Wash.

That was a huge win for you guys on Sunday. Looks like the division has loosened up a bit. Those 2 games vs the East bottom feeders are very winnable.

I wish the Seahawks would lose the Seahawks for the entire season of life.
