Was Anyone Mad After The Bama Game

I wasn't. I was happy with the way my guys played out there on Saturday. We dominated them for 58 minutes. I thought the defensive line looked like absolute beasts. I think this was by far Lacouture's best game. Godchaux looked damn strong in the middle stopping the run and shedding blocks. When beckwith was in the game, he was a monster. The offensive line also looked good. Pocic was especially impressive. Our young players stepped up big against one of the better offensive and defensive line programs in the country.
What i wasnt happy with is how our fans and students are acting. "Frick You Saban"? Really? Not only is that unoriginal but probably the most juvenile thing Ive ever heard from the LSU student section. Way worse than the other edgy classics like "suck that tiger dick bitch" , "you suck you suck", "assholes assholes." Thats pathetic and and an absolute embarrassment to the university win or lose. The bama fans are much classier at bryant denny. Fans should at least respect Saban for the program he built at LSU. Be thankful that we even played a close game with Saban. He is by far the best coach in the country. The second problem is the piped-in music. The generic rap and country all game was unbearable. It has ruined the game day experience that we used to all love in college football.
Its been fun watching this young team grow and next year we have a good chance to contend for a national title. LSU has a bright future ahead of them!

Whether you want to admit it or not, you're happy simply playing Alabama close. You don't care about the wins and losses or the fact that they keep rolling on while we finish 3rd-5th in the division. It's a tacit acknowledgement of what I posted yesterday. Most of you know that they are a better program and that they will continue to compete for championships. I don't know why you all get so pissy when someone points it out.
We had a great run, but we are essentially Georgia in a much tougher division. 9-10 wins and the occasional Peach or Cotton bowl will be the norm until Saban leaves the west.

In 2012 I was only disappointed, because before the game I really didn't expect us to win. Saturday night I was furious because that's twice in a row (at home vs Bama) that we flat out blew it.

We choked,no way around it. Got the loser mentality, and can't develop QB's. Bama just has to keep it close for 59 minutes, then we fold...

Guess you haven't been to an LSU Bama game since 2006 then. Because its been chanted at all of the home games since then.

Frustrated because they were so close and this Bama team is mediocre, but I realize LSU just isn't a very good team.
