Not particularly happy about this game not having a healer companion.

I eliminated the apostate leader, the templar leader, and then the mercenary leader. When I went back to redcliffe, there was a fade rift to close and then I was allowed entrance. Oh, and I laughed so hard at how that punk kid Connor ended up, saving his arse in DA:O was a lot of work.

ok got into Redcliff and Dog is my first target after my new system is built. This is the first game in a long time that I have looked at the clock and said WTF it's that late.

I'm done with hinterlands for now. Did all but a few quests. Does anyone know the suggested level you should go to per region?

I have read that one of the mages (not sure who) gets a revive spell at some point.

The last perk on the "spirit" tree is a revive spell.

That "fix" renders multiplayer unplayable.

Yep, I pretty much rushed towards that skill for Billy Zane to me my white mage.
My only complaint 6 hours in is that I have to constantly hold right click in combat so that I don't accidently let my mouse move to my second screen which minimizes my game without pausing which is terrible.
Is there a way to default to that movement and then go to the free mouse cursor when you press control or something?

Well, if you enter the dragon area in the hinterlands, the dragon will fly around and shoot fireballs for a bit before leaving you alone and heading to where you fight it. I attempted it, but I got about a quarter of the way done before it wiped us. I only had one potion at the start and my fire staff did squat so I'll be making changes and trying again.

Would I be ok playing this if I've never played any other Dragon Age game?
Posted on 11/21/14 at 4:25 pm to Henry Jones Jr
I'm enjoying it, and I've never played the other dragon age games.

Just got it. Install is at 21% right now. I'm pretty pumped.

Gonna play some later tonight. Gotta keep working on the hinterlands.
Posted on 11/21/14 at 4:52 pm to Henry Jones Jr
yeah, there are two main characters from previous games that are main characters in this game so far and they make references to the previous games a good bit, but they are minor and they probably have codex entries explaining the events if you need the info.

The grind is real, but enjoyable

Explored areas through the war table and Agents Lot going on.
