Saw that coming from a mile away.

I forget who said it, but some poster on here wrtoe something along the lines of "a person's intelligence is indirectly proportional to how easily they are offended".

I would agree with that. A coworker is on facebook and is all up in arms because white men are assholes too and that video didn't reflect that...or something.

I'll let the feminists and the "strong women of color" crowd duke it out on this one. I would love to watch them attack each other.

Thank whatever power I'm a white, middle class, American male. The cause and solution to all of life's problems. No, wait, that's beer. I'm just the problem.

A guy just went up to the girl and asked for a kiss? Yea, I'm not buying that.

In the comments, they refer to "women of size." Are they referring to fat women?

I was watching MSNBC last week and Chris Hayes said when he first saw the video he reufused to put it on his show as he thought it was racist that no white men were catcalling. Doesn't matter that they were in predominently minority neighborhoods, if it doesn't fit their narrative, they bury it. FWIW, the filmaker apologized and said there were some white guys but they didn't get good audio or blah blah. He said he would go out and get some white guys next time. But you could always ask your wife/girlfriend/sister (who could be all three if you live in Hackberry) who gives them the most guff out there.

Well it doesn't show many white guys for a reason: white guys don't do that. That is not to say white guys aren't predatory. It's not even to say that they can't make women uncomfortable. White guys are just more subtle about this stuff. They don't have the balls, some might say, to walk up and talk to a woman randomly on the street. Others would call or common decency. Regardless, white guys still stare, make comments to their friends, etc. We're just not as blatant with our sexualization of women.

But that's nothing new either. This behavior had been going on for centuries. Perhaps millennia.

I'm tired of this bullshite. It's seriously appalling to me that women these days have enough time to go out and make youtube videos and be activists when there is so much bread and cheese and lettuce and other sandwich making ingredients that are just sitting there... NOT being made into sandwiches.

Culturally white and Asian men aren't as aggressive with cat calls and hitting on women like that. It's not racist its just true. This ultra bleeding heart offense fest needs to stop.

I'm a victim of fat girls walking up to me at a bar and telling me I'm cute. I'd rather that they do not do that because it puts me in the uncomfortable position of rejecting them and that they just wasted their time.

I'd rather be a victim of hot chicks.

I want to slap Durga like that dude in the 8ball jacket slapped that bitch on the subway.

"Men of color" don't hit on these broads like they did with the girl in the original video, because these girls look like stir fried shite in comparison.
