First of all go to San Fran, not San Jose. Go to Chinatown, haight ashbury, japan town,..so many cool neighborhoods to see. Just wander around the city.

Yes def San Fran. Alcatraz is touristy and really cool. Chinatown is cool. Haight ashbury is worth a stop but I got bored after an hour. If you go to the wharf area you can rent a bike and see some of the sights that way.

Go to San Fran and just walk around. Honestly. It's bad arse. If you see something cool like a pier, Coit Tower, a place that looks good to eat at, a cool park, a shop, a trolly: do it.

A side trip to Muir Woods is very worthwhile. Marin County is so nice.

Golden Gate Park. Yes.

Yes. Muir Woods is no bullshite. But definitely need a car and an afternoon to get there see stuff and come back. Golden Gate Park gives you a good taste and is just a cab ride.

LSU alums watch the game at NorthStar in NorthBeach...Powell@Mason. Abita available.

Otherwise, avoid San Jose...nothing to see there.

Coit Tower is cool. Lots of great restaurants in this city as well...let me know if you want a recommend.

Agreed, walking around such a functioning, thriving city with numerous neighborhoods is the best experience

Also, be warned about the number of batshit crazy and homeless people around. And please don't give them any money, this city spends $500 MILLION dollars on housing and social services for homeless people. People asking on the streets are junkies that don't want help.

Man that would be awesome. I trying to find a place to watch the game.

I do not think it'll be on the hotel TV.

They usually have a caterer selling food as well. Chef is originally from Louisiana so it's good

Sunset at Lands End park is pretty amazing. Best GG Bridge view IMO.
