Chelsea @ Liverpool to start the day

quote:

Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Matic, Fabregas, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Costa

quote:

Mignolet, Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno, Henderson, Gerrard, Can, Sterling, Coutinho, Balotelli

Yup BR sure wasn't resting his players in the week. Chelsea needs to drub them today

I'm going to the pub for this one, can't go tomorrow for the Arsenal match.

BR keeps playing Balo as a lone striker. For Pool fans this has to be as frustrating as Wenger continuing to play Monreal as a CB.

Other that one mishap he was outstanding vs RM. There was about three players who looked good while the rest not so much.

And Lallana can't get a consistent start in the Prem either. So odd.

I think its clear its Cou vs. Lallana for the start.

Very interesting that Can was in the line-up - that the only player I really am wondering about. I would have thought Allens pressing, possession, etc. would have been a nice piece to our game today.

I think BR has settled into starting with one FWD and then subbing another on if necessary. Part of this is a more defensive shift in his tactics - we're giving up crappy goals still, but a lot less of them.

Spend 25 million a young and proven talent and don't even play him.

Spend 20 million on Markovic and he sucks

Chelsea fans already with the Gerrard song

It's frustrating. But hey, maybe today will be different from all other days.

Because Shaw and Roja have been such good buys?

BR has plenty to show for 220 - and anyone with brains realizes that a good bit of the money for this season was spent on potential. The only real disappointments are that Markovic was so far from being ready and Lovren.

Shaw has been getting better. Rojo was relatively cheap to buy.
