Email

quote:

The Justice Deparment turned over documents to the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee today, and it turns out Attorney General Eric Holder strongly trashed that committee’s head in a 2011 email about ongoing investigations into the Fast & Furious ATF scandal.

Congressman Darrell Issa led the Republican charge into the ATF gun-running program that went wrong, looking for the past few years into how high up the scandal went. He had said back in July 2011 that Holder could very well be involved, and a year later, when Holder was held in contempt of Congress, he said the investigation was politically motivated.

And now, in this email obtained by The Wall Street Journal, Holder shared his real feelings three years ago about the investigation:

quote:

Issa and his idiot cronies never gave a damn about this when all that was happening was that thousands of Mexicans were being killed with guns from our country. All they want to do- in reality- is cripple ATF and suck up to the gun lobby. Politics at its worst- maybe the media will get it.

I have trouble taking anyone seriously that starts referring to "cronies." Of course, I'd have trouble taking Holder seriously for about a million other reasons too.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is how the Attorney General of the United States of America feels about an investigation into an incident that left an American dead and his family grieving with no answers after he did not cooperate fully with a congressional investigation.

Look at how impartial he is and most likely the DOJ following as a result....

Lani Guinier is still around. Barry could pick her up, dust her off, and rehabilitate her image. She'd probably be better than Holder.

Saw on tv this morning that some woman is at the top of the list. She sits on the ethics council, or something to that effect, at the DOJ.

Holder is, by far, the biggest POS in this entire administration. He should have been impeached during Obama's first term. He's a despicable, loathsome character.

I would think it has to be someone from Obama's inner circle. I don't know how they could bring someone in from the outside at this point....

I can't decide who I despise most, him or Jarrett.

They are both despicable human beings.

For me, it's Holder. Jarrett is supposed to be partisan in her position. Holder is not supposed to be, but he is.

He has about as much worth to me as a steaming pile of my dog's excrement.

This is the respect Holder shows for Congress performing one of its duties under the Constitution. It matters not who was leading the investigation.

Obama and his crew will try to slide in someone just as bad or worse, during the lame duck session, which is why we should not have any lame duck sessions of Congress.
