That's blocked here. It would be great if you could past any real info re; the tech, draw, speed etc.

well lets see what we can decipher from the pictures.
reflex riser: short brace height, longer power stroke
round wheels with center axis: bell curve shaped force draw curve
cable round wheel with off center axis: gives let off depending on how much offset.

so it won't be as fast as bows with cams because it can't store more energy under its bellcurve. Cams give a flat topped curve which shows more stored energy.

it has preloaded limbs so that stores more energy than straight limps

I would guess it would shoot 85% to 87% as fast as the fastest bows.

now for as shootability it will be in the 98 percentile. it should be a very smooth drawing bow that will have a little more jump in the hand as compared to perimeter weighted cams that counter act some of the forward movement.

so put an overdraw on it and lighten up the arrows so it will shoot faster. lol

With its alleged IBO, I doubt this.

Ran by bow shop at lunch and they were just pulling one out of the box.
Looks long and narrow, but guy said its 32" axle to axle with 6 5/8 brace height.
Feels light.
Will try to go shoot next week when back in town.

Just went and shot one at shooters in laffy, it's a BIG bow. Axle length seemed to be 40". It was however very smooth.

Must have been one of the target models. Those are huge. The HTR is 32" ATA.

Nailed it, it indeed was the target model. I was shooting an 85% let off one.

from bowhunting dot com

quote:

I was very worried that mathews just made a big mistake. But i was wrong. The design on it looks great when i first thought it was ugly. The bow is a 33 aisle to aisle bow so that turns some people off but i like that quality. Then i shot it....
Super awesome draw cycle. easy roll over and a SOLID AND I MEAN SOLID back wall. This was at 70# and a 28' draw. Then the chrono.. I was worried that it wasn't going to shoot fast with hunting arrows. He just picked up some arrows from the range (i don't know the weight but hunting arrows) and it Shot at 295 fps. Some say that is slow, but it is faster then my bow (granted i shoot at a 27' draw). The bow is dead in your hands. and i say that having shot all the new bows and this one beat them all. One of the best qualities of this bow is that you can hardly torch the bow. Since it has no cams its almost impossible to torch it. AND on top of all that. It was the quietest bow that i have ever shot.

I am not a mathews guy, or one that even really likes mathews. But this is one sweet bow. If i had the money, I would buy it.

everyone that has shot it seems to love it
