I'm considering going the all-online backup route. I currently backup to an external drive which I plan to use for iPhoto and iTunes.

I looked at carbonite but their big data plan is windows only. Anybody use iDrive? Anything else?

I'd be needing >500 GB of storage.

Crash Plan Pro. Unlimited. Cheap. Will back up to your external drives as well.

I'll second Crash Plan.

ETA: I've actualy had to do a restore of about 200 GB of data using Crash Plan. Worked perfect; didn't lose a single file.

Just use OneDrive or Google Drive.. You just need to save your files. You can always reinstall Windows and your programs.

I use both a second drive (for fast access) and SOSBackup for online. What I like about SOS is that they'll store every version of every file for as long as you're a customer. I had reason to test this a while back and they in fact did have it.
