Very good tacos. It's actually Tacos & Burritos Express, which has had a few other locations in BR. (They have a small sign with the whole name, but when they took over Burbank Grill they just changed the big sign to "Burrito".) I've had the burritos at one of the other locations which were very good, but I usually get crunchy tacos when I stop at the one on Burbank/Gardere.

If you don't speak Spanish, you may have to point to the menu to let them know what you want--depends on who's working the counter.

I just left that area in March and I never ordered there because of this. I went in soon after they opened to see if I could get a to go menu and they seemed to not know what I was talking about. I now regret not going back.

The menu didn't even have pics of all the stuff--it was mostly words. She didn't seem to understand when I said what I wanted, but she got it when I pointed to the words. Kind of weird 'cause it was all in English. Still worth it though.

Oh, and that green sauce (tomatilllo sauce maybe?) they give you with your order is awesome.

La Tiendita is *sorta* across from TJ Ribs... And *sorta* across from Riverside Patty at 6031 Siegen Ln

Taqueria Mi Pueblito is behind Twin Peaks at 7034 Siegen Ln Baton Rouge

La Tiendita is my favorite.

Meh. It's a rough area in some people's opinion, but rough areas rarely bother me. Probably to a fault of my own.

Why? They're delicious.

And man, they load your box up so much. Like a pound of rice and gravy.. bread.. smothered greens.. mac and cheese.

Oh man. I've got to change clothes.

Literally every time I've suggested it you said it was trashy or sketchy.
