Headed to TN to meet the family in a few weeks. They all fall asleep early in the evening. Anybody know of any watering holes that I should check out while in town for Thanksgiving.

All but two bars close down earlier, and the two open late are full of Bikers and cops. I see them handing out drunk in publics all day.

Not too much to do as far as drinking between 12-2.

people go to gatlinburg to spend time with their families, not really to get away from them.

I was there in May for a wedding. It didn't seem to have many bars. Mostly pancake restaurants, and putt putt golf. Its kind of an old person town. Beautiful, however.

I went skiing one weekend with some friends when we were in college. We asked the bartender at the slopes where was a good bar to pick up women. He told us to drive to Knoxville. Applebees in Pigeon Forge is probably the wildest scene in that area.

Is right....... the whole steip pretty much shuts down around 10 midweek and 11 on the weekend. We went to a bar be que joint and had to wait..... couldnt get a beer till we sat down to eat. Gatlinburg PF is not a drinking town.

also, to pregame. There are two whiskey and Moonshine disterleries. Each has 4-5 bars set up to give out up to four free shots. If you walk around in a pattern similar to tightening lug nuts, you can get very drunk for free. Assuming you are fine with flavored whiskey and moonshine. Then go across the street and down four blocks and do it again.
I got blitzed then headed to that "All Sauced Up" place where you can get a sample of everyhthing. Then wound up with $60 worth or Jellies and sauces (free samples are actually a great marketing plan lol)
