Taking my mom to the Denham Springs Antique District

We will be driving in on Saturday and staying the night. Livingston Parish has a lot of stuff listed on the Tourism page. Anything we must do while there? Besides antiquing?

Nope. That's about it. And even that will only take a couple hours. It's only like 10 shops.

That will take up a good bit of time.
Some very interesting things there. Last time I went I got quite a few pieces of jewelry and plan on going back soon to get a mirrored wardrobe.

Just a hint. None of it is antiques. They buy all their shite from other stores and label it as antiques. I know several owners of those establishments.

If you are coming in Friday Southern Heirs Auction is close and has a pretty big auction that should be worth visiting.
