Ever. I haven't seen one in 25 years. I don't need to be frightened unnecessarily.

Not my favorite genre either, I prefer thrillers. Though I'll watch a horror movie on occasion.

Exactly Broke. You can turn on the national news for horror, if that's what you want.

Thrill ride is different from horror ride.

IMO it's healthy to occasionally experience all human emotions, even bad ones.

Horror movies aren't just about the "Boo!" factor. There is much more to the whole genre than that.

Lol what is it, the Geico commerical, where it shows how people make bad decisions in horror movies, like hiding behind the chainsaws instead of getting in the running car. Horror movies definitely feature this type of illogical thinking. There are different types of horror movies, some focus on the plot, and others just focus on the gore effect. I've never been a fan of the blood-splattering movies, but I've always been a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street movie series.

We're posting threads about things we have zero interest in?

I'm way behind on starting threads then.

I rarely watch them. Maybe one or two a year. probably would classify most of them as thrillers vs true horror films.

Most horror films leave me feeling depressed.
