According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, it "sure sounds like broken collarbone for Nick Foles the way Eagles were talking."
Foles suffered the injury when taken to the turf on a sack by Texans OLB Whitney Mercilus. The damage is on his left (non-throwing) side, but a fracture would mean an extended period of Mark Sanchez as the Eagles starter. Sanchez was 15-of-22 for 202 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in just three quarters of work Sunday, leading the Eagles to a 31-21 road win. He'd have high-end QB2 appeal as the operator of this fastbreak Chip Kelly scheme.

I guess the OLB was Mercilus.

Cam is my backup and I picked up Orton as a 3 as a joke a few weeks ago. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

He'll be out the rest of the regular season if so. Their starting MLB ruptured his achilles too.
