Exactly.

I want what we all want... another SB victory.

But I will not hyper inflate Mark Ingram just to pump myself up into thinking we beast.

Let me state early, he is running great right now and has had some really good flashes going all the way back to 2012. That being said, he was a bit slow to acclimate to the speed of the NFL.

The biggest thing that irked me was his hesitation on deciding on which gap to hit. Once he became more decisive, even if the decision was wrong, he became a much better back IMO. I think a lot of his inconsistency last year was tied to his injuries, but I think he's been on an upward climb since late in 2012.

About the Bama-LSU hate, it's "whatever" to me. I can appreciate his passion for his team. I don't put much stock in the emblems myself. It's cool for me to see MSU doing great this year, but when they came to Baton Rouge I still cheered for the Tigers. Football teams are nothing without the players that comprise them, any player will pretty much agree.

This is true, since last preseason though his acceleration through the holes has been phenomenal

I don't dislike Ingram at all. I think he is a very good RB and the best one on the team right now.

I do, however, dislike Corey White for being the reason why hyper-reactionary fans are going to the bottom of the well for the "They are just Bama haters" excuse. If White doesn't give up that big play to Golden Tate at the end of the game in Detroit, Saints fans would have been all jazzed up about the team turning things around coming off the bye by getting a tough and impressive road win against an excellent team. And it would have had pretty much nothing all at to do with Mark Ingram who went 10 for 16 yards.

So instead of fans seeing 3 wins off the bye in which overall better play by the team and much improved gameplanning and playcalling by Sean Payton were the main reasons for success, fans are looking at the two wins and pointing toward the shiny running stats of having an RB with two straight 100 yard games against two of the worst rushing defenses in the league. That, however, is not to say Ingram did not perform well. He did. He performed very well when the team was hurting at the position and needed him to tote the mail all by himself.

But yeah, this is Corey White's fault.

I actually loved the pick and always wanted him to be featured more. I do still get worried that he is going to fumble.

I'm not going to say a stat-line of 33 carries for 100 yards is 'pretty', but if gumps that hate on Ingram watched the game, you could see most of the time he met a Panther in the backfield or right at the LOS. They bottled him up, but he still made plays.

This is still the same Carolina Defense that was ranked #2 overall last year, minus Greg Hardy. If we could turn out defense around in the last 3 weeks, why can't Carolina? They still have Star and Short. They still have Johnson, Davis, and Kuechly. They added a better run stopping safety in Roman Harper.

It is Corey White's fault, we could be 5-3 right now if it wasn't for his scrub arse trying to make a play instead of tackling Tate for a 8 yard gain, short of a 1st down.

He's proven through his career that he isn't a fumbler. 1 fumble in his career

He took 3 years off so he should be rested....

Call it what you want, but contract year and runs hard.

Just in life..anyones life..you have to make the best of any opportunities you get. If Ingram was only getting 10 attempts per game, then it is up to him to make it the best of it.

You earn what you receive. He only got the attempts he earned.

Got no problem with him as a person but he's been way too inconsistent as a player for the Saints. It nice he's finally decided to turn it around as of late.

Because he was and has been a terrible investment. Kind of like our recent CBs, but at least they were a need.

Fat, lazy, and injury prone for 3 straight years. Starting to look productive only in his contract year.

His lack of production drove me up the wall. I thought Payton would have learned his lesson after drafting Reggie, then finding Pierre was the better back. Ingram seemed like a repeat, without the tantalizing moments Reggie occasionally gave us.

If he can break out, I'm in Ingram's corner.

Given the restrictions, I can only say that when you trade up in the 1st round to get someone, you better get a superstar.
