So he should disown his alma mater? Also you should read the OP, you broke the rules of the thread

We gave up too much to get him for the impact he's had.

people don't realize how stupid they are for this statement. So he should go for 100+ on a top run D that holds all its opponents to less than 65 yards? Well that's rational.

That's like saying, when you move to another state you should stop repping the Saints because you're in a different city...?

There's being a gump and there's being an actual sports fan.

Most of you guys on here since Sunday night are gumps

Ingram will be the Saints number 1 running back for the next 6-8 years if he stays healthy

If he's the RB for the next 6-8 years, I think I'm gonna avoid ST.

feeding Ingram 5 more times wouldn't have won the ball game.

dumb turnovers coupled with a bad start defensively did us in.

I thought we had them but when they completed that 4th and 10 pass the writing was on the wall.

Ingram has been exactly what the Saints have needed in this stretch and it still might not matter.

the secondary is weak besides Lewis IMO. Linebacker could use a look too, We had some missed tackles from the LB's today that sure as shite didn't help.

Also a Gump.

He's a beast now.

I would like the Saints keep him.

That seems pretty average at best (certainly from a ypc standpoint) for what San Francisco has been giving up on the road to teams' top rushers.

Murray 22 for 118 (5.4), 1 TD
Ellington 18 for 62 (3.4)
Mason 5 for 40 (8.0)
Hillman 14 for 74 (5.3), 2 TD's
Ingram 27 for 120 (4.4)

Look, Ingram has had a wonderful 3 weeks and the Saints are certainly better with his running as he has while not having Pierre or Khiry available at all. He deserves the credit and praise he has been receiving. I honestly don't think though that the Saints would have lost to Green Bay or Carolina had they mixed in Pierre and/or Khiry had they been available. Would they have won had they had Pierre and/or Khiry available yesterday? That seems to be more speculative since the game was so close but I would guess probably not.

I guess you have to selectively pick stats to support your argument. Just ignore that they held the Eagles to 22 rushing yards

SF is 7th against the run and gives up under 4 yards per attempt

Murray 22 for 118 (5.4), 1 TD

MVP candidate and best oline in NFL

quote:

Ellington 18 for 62 (3.4)

Great running back, must suck for only getting 3.4 ypc

quote:

Mason 5 for 40 (8.0)

5 carries, really? Stacy had 3.1 ypc on 8 carries. Cunnigham had 3.0 on 7 carries

I don't see what is so hard about understanding sample size.

Anyone who watched that game yesterday would have to be blind not to have been impressed. He routinely made something out of nothing. We lost the game for not giving him the ball on 3rd and 1

It was infuriating when Cadet checked in on short yardage situations. My section was probably sick of hearing me complain about it though

Did you not read the stats you posted? He leads all the back in yards.

120 yards on SF will not persuade anyone, especially on the heels of losing to bama because the refs fricked them(you)
