Monday night game in London, fly to Cape Canaveral, Florida on Tuesday, take a spaceship to the moon on Wednesday, moon game against the relocated Luna Jaguars on Thursday night

I brought this up here earlier and people acted like it was no big deal.
Payton says it and all of a sudden, everyone sides with him.
If I didn't know better, I would think that you people respected Payton's football knowledge more than mine.

It was a horseshite scheduling move, and I'm glad Payton could speak about it after winning so it doesn't sound like sour grapes.
Basically, the Saints had to go into this game with the same gameplan they used against Green Bay, because they didn't have time to do any real practicing. As it turned out, that worked out fine. Most times, it wouldn't.

Yep. He tried to walk it back a bit and then just said, forget it, and let it fly again.
He'll get fined and it ought to be a national story. The NFL doesn't care about player safety. Payton said he had 3 guys hurt in the locker room and he attributed it to this. They just did walk throughs the previous 3 days to get ready - helmets only.
