I imagine aldean would be fun to see. I like a lot of his stuff actually.

I just hate FGL.

I saw Eric church and Brantley Gilbert and they were both fricking awesome live.

No lie, this groupie-herder is a good buddy of mine

We used to give him so much shite but turns out the joke's on us...dude's flying private and has a hot chick in every city...not to mention the fact that he's making a shite ton of money.

FGL still sucks, though.

JA has some good songs on his albums but most of his radio hits aren't the best he has to offer

Unfortunately, he only plays the hits at the concerts so you don't get to hear some of his best stuff live.

Well if you are a 'real' country fan then yea they suck. But if you still kick yourself for missing the Kid Rock show years ago in BR, then you would enjoy FGL's style and performance. I was thoroughly pleased with Sat and Sun of the last two years of BCSF.

Sad I missed Reba though.

These are the Beatles and Sinatra of our generation. The haters are just fuel for these dynamic artists.

Sorry arse troll attempt. Hey I know these guys aren't the best singer/songwriter/cool shite to listen to but for 30-40k fans in TS, we don't mind being labeled.

I make fun of people for going see comic book movies and other silly shite that makes bazillions of $$ every year. Everyone has their 'guilty pleasure'. Pop/rock country is ours.

That's the problem with it. You can't stay away from it. Imagine you are a country music fan and driving down the road and tune into a "country" station. Instead of country music you get to listen to Florida Georgia Line, Aldean, Luke Bryan, with a little Taylor Swift mixed in just to kick you square in the balls.

Same thing happened to Rock when it was invaded with crap like Nickelback, Creed, Staind, etc. They damn near killed the whole genre.
nice observation, but they all play an integral part of the cycle. like rock n roll, it first needs to be invented in it's purest form, then it'll be exploited and shite all over for awhile at a great profit. interest will wane, cashflow reduces, and people move on. then some grassroot bands will come back and revive it for awhile, regenerate interest, then the shitting and exploiting will begin again. suffice it to say we're in an exploitation period for country, but you can already tell hating new country is becoming very mainstream, like how hating nickelback was and still is. soon you'll be so ridiculed for liking this, no trendy person in their right mind will be caught dead around it, and it'll fade away again. then the Brach Zown Band will come again in 10 years and croon the panties off susceptible SEC sorroritues with their new brand of old school country.

You don't work with a douchebag who only listens to this shite.

If I could afford to buy him a new IPhone, I'd take his and toss it in the toilet and piss all over it just to show him what I think of what he calls"his people's music".

If Big and Rich are your people's music, it's time to cleanse that gene pool.

Some of these people hating on this country music need to get on the ole music services and start an 80s/90s country radio station. That's some TERRIBLE shite. Keyboards and shite in everything.

Bad music is always around and always going to be popular. Deal with it, frick off, fuss here, up to you. Some of my old faves from last 25 or so years.

Ronnie Millsap - Button off of My shirt

Restless Heart - Bluest eyes in Texas

Faith Hil - This Kiss

His early stuff was actually decent, but then he started doing that country rap garbage and it went downhill from there if you like regular/older country music.

My girlfriend listens to this modern country/douche pop garbage and I despise it. She doesn't get or care why it's considered low brow music and isn't respected outside of it's own, just like nascar.
We have gotten in fights because I make comments when I hear it and she gets offended, I have asked her to never talk to me about music again because.
It's shocking, because she grew up around good music and still likes it, but this shite is her go to.

Wait, didn't you just tell him to get a new girlfriend?

And I think I'll notice the Natty.

Damn dude. Most people don't listen to certain music because it's "respected" by others. They listen to it because they like it. They can't help what they like, they just do. Similar to how some people might like certain foods that most people don't. Don't be one of those music snobs.

Did we just become best friends?!

Love some Ronnie Milsap. Aldean and Florida/Georgia line can't hold a candle to him. Not even close.

I love country music but the guy is pretty accurate. Florida-Georgia Line and Jason Aldean are pretty terrible.
