I had to take off the flap in front of the front tires, my mud flaps were already off.

Pretty sure one of the guys that used to work at the Lafayette location is running the Baton Rouge location now.

Good looking tires, MJ2. I've often wondered, though, if most people are aware of the difference between directional and non-directional tires as well as the advantages/disadvantages of each? Depending on the terrain a person drives on most of the time, this is an important consideration. I've had both. I had a set of directionals that wouldn't pull a greasy string out of a cat's butt in reverse gear, but would climb a tree going forward. I've had non-directionals that were timid going forward or in reverse. I haul a lot of firewood out of the mountain and directionals work best on my old truck...if I don't hafta back up very often. There's a reason that tractor tires are directional and there's a reason tractors don't go as well in reverse as they do in forward. If I was doing a lot of off road driving through the mud and bog to get to my stand, I would go with directionals and have a winch...just in case I got stuck and couldn't back up.
LINK Interesting discussion here about these tires.

Now you have to get rid of the chrome bug deflector, the step bars, and get a color matched grill.

That's where I buy all my tires, even paying 25 a tire for install I still save $500 from the local Cooper dealer...

chrome deflector may stay.I'll have to see. BTW,The size i chose was available in a 6 ply C load range. Most of the rest of the sizes were all 10 ply E load range tires. Screw that on a Tacoma

You'll quickly realize they are hands down the cheapest of all of the places when you include taxes and shipping. Tire Rack has taxes in the state of Louisiana since they now have a warehouse in Shreveport.
