My first cousin started calling my dad by his first name when she grew up. Wanted to slap the shite out of her for it.
You wanted her to just say "uncle" or something?
I've always called my aunts and uncles by their names...

Seriously, Mom and Dad until I hit nut-dropping time and then I called them by their first names.
Wow, you were saying "mom" and "dad" in the womb? Your balls drop when you are born.

Growing up it was Mama and Daddy. Now it is Mom and Dad. My wife calls them by thier first name, and I call her parents by their first name. But we each call the other's grandparents by what we called them growing up. My wife called my grandmother Granny, because that's what all of her own grandchildren still called her. The only time I say her grandparents first names is when I'm talking to my own parents. If we're going down to stay with some of them, I'll tell my Dad we're staying at Mary's, or we're staying at Bob's, so he doesn't get confused which grandparents we're going to visit.

I call them Mom and Dad for the most part.
On a similar note, people who call their brother, "brother", instead of his name creep me out.

I call my mom, woman, and my Dad, dad.

I call them Mom and Dad except when they do something stupid or if we are arguing about something.
It's kind of like when my mom would incorporate my middle name/full name to yell at me growing up to signify that I'm about to be in trouble.

I called, and still call my father dad. My mother died in 2006. I called her either "mom", or "momma".
No clue why this thread choked me up a little bit, but I will ask this. Have you called your momma today? I sure wish I could call mine.

People who call their parents by their first names
ETA - Literally the only acceptable scenario for calling either of your parents by their first name is if one was a deadbeat or absentee parent who have come in and out of your life.

Kinda weirds me out when I hear grown men refer to their fathers as "daddy"
I find it endearing.
Mama when I was younger, Mom and Mother when I was older (Mother was always said with a Texas accent because I was imitating her). Daddy was always Daddy.
Both of my parents called their parents Mother & Daddy.

I do, but I'll occasionally call them by their first names if I'm giving them a hard time or trying to get their attention.
