Jackson

good but not great singer, great musician, outstanding composer.. if he utilized a band with a frontman (better voice/look) probably reaches higher level of fame.

"Kung Fu... well that was one of my good ones..
whats a few broken bones when we all know it's good clean fun!"

love that guy

For the longest time, I only liked Is She really Going Out With Him. Recently, I've come to love It's Different For Girls

Loved that one. If there was ever an art deco pop song, that was it.

Joe Jackson bounced through a lot of stylistic changes early on but it seems like he did a good job with all of them. Definitely a favorite of mine from the early 80's. Also Graham Maby was a bad individual on the bass guitar.

Never thought of that but I can certainly see the influence.

yea a lot of folks associate him with 1 or 2 hits, but he has a large body of work.
