Spending will not decrease

Taxes will not decrease

Size and scope of government will not decrease

Bureaucracy will not decrease

Debt Ceiling will continue to be raised

IRS will still be able to run wild

DOJ abuse won't be reigned in

There will be no difference or changes made. Only difference is that the GOP will be in charge of where the taxpayer money flows(to their own special interests).

Appointments of judges, etc. will be far different.

A Republican Congress can slow down the Obama regime, but you are correct; unless we get our POTUS elected we can't implement all the changes that are needed.

Yup. Our political model is broken. I wish there was a simple way to hit the reset button.

republicans had the house, senate and presidency and still yet couldn't implement the changes that were needed. The situation is not oging to change with chris christie in office, or even rand paul

would make almost no difference at all, most Repukes would throw up their hands and say "we can't get rid of this now, our citizens/voters depend on it" and the ones who would do something will be outnumbered by the Rinos, party R's and Dems, who love big D.C. govt as usual.

Yes. Harry Reid didn't allow it to go to a vote.

If anyone's campaigning really hard on reintroducing that, I haven't seen it. Couldn't they just defund it, as well? I don't see anyone saying that either.

The GOP will have more ammo the use against Obama in the event of a shutdown situation, but in the end you are correct. The GOP will back and make it a 2016 issue. They don't want to piss of northern Virginia.

No the only thing that will change is that Obama will not be able to get more Supreme Court justices on. That will be the key in containing Obamaism.

Question: Who becomes Senate Majority leader when the Republicans win?

I hope not McConnell.

Stupid argument.

Had there been a GOP Senate, we would not have Obamacare.

In fact... the people of Massachusetts, of all places, elected a GOP guy specifically to try to stop it.

So, there will be change... maybe not what all GOPers want, but to make the "nothing will change" argument is immature.
