I'm still amazed at what he did. If I told you before the game that AD got 17 boards, and Ryno and Reke each got 9, you'd probably think Asik got 10ish, and maybe left early with foul trouble. But Asik got 17 rebounds too

Asik also played 33.5 minutes and fouled 4 times. Thats the amount of minutes I want from him and the statline can decline a bit. I'll take a 10/12 Asik over any center we had in years past.
See, its because you guys make snarky remarks that Asik > Howard, AD > Howard, etc that he comes.
Remove the snarky remarks, he may not come.
As for Asik, I love the mtfer next to Davis. This is the type of duo we were wanting with Nerlens Noel, except Asik is bulkier and more of a true center.

Wait - That dumb Dwight Howard effect where players just avoid Dwight in order to minimize his effect on the game? Or that Cool Dwight Howard effect where AD & Asik swat the ball back in Dwight's face, breaking his nose, and forcing him to retire?

People here post those comments with the intention of trolling boom and/or other Rockets' fans. Then boom responds and people complain that he is "stinking up the board". He may be stinking up the board, but some of it (maybe even a lot of it) is brought upon yourselves. When you troll, you are asking for it.

Yet you and about 3-4 others seem quite capable of not being drawn into it. We have a few Grizzly fan regulars too, but they only show up when there is Grizzly or South West relevant info worth sharing.

I'm not saying we're innocent, but you can't expect us to not talk trash about rivals on our own board. I'm not even asking for him to ignore it completely, just don't feel the need to defend every claim as if Dwight is actually on trial here. I thought turning every thread into a referendum on Monty was bad, but that's a delight compared to every thread turning into a referendum on Dwight.

Boom feels like he needs to knight for everything. Yeah we take our little jabs but that's no reason for him to pretty much troll every thread.
You and PCT don't do that and that's the difference.
He just needs to tone it down.
