I wouldn't go that far, but I guess youre collecting the core Avengers (Hulk,Cap,Thor,IM) into one IP? Panther hasn't really even had a long running solo title, doesn't have one right now either.

Top 5 IPs (Grouping the Avengers) roughly:
Spider-Man
Avengers
X-Men(core movie team grouped)
F4(+Surfer and Doom)

Daredevil or GotG (#1 movie of the year does a lot)

Top 5 (breaking apart X-Men and Avengers, F4):
Spider-Man
Wolverine
Iron Man
Captain America
Hulk

with realistic arguments for Thor,Magneto,Dr.Doom,Deadpool, The Punisher and Daredevil

I wasn't. I just don't see the big deal. Yeah he is cool and does cool things but I don't see the "Big" deal.

Black Panther is very much a power player in the MU, even though he's never had huge sales like say Ghost Rider, Punisher, or Deadpool but he matters a lot in universe.

The Illuminati membership, the holding of vibranium, king of sovereign nation along with his time as an Avenger( and his marriage to Storm), almost any of these alone are reasons to get him in the MCU. In the meta sense, yeah being one of the first black superheroes is important in comic lore as well. Panther also has a little bit of globe trotting hero to him and obviously politically he's well connected. As is the case in the MCU, the shady powers that be are some forces that cause struggle. In the example of the World Security Council seen TWS, BP could conceivably be on the council on title alone.

He's very much a hero to his own people, not just the people's hero, so to speak. He runs in higher circles than even Stark. He's always been important and as the MCU establishes important corners of their universe, the chief characters are opening the doors.

If the Big 3 hang it up in the MCU, BP is the obvious choice for a new leader of a new team of Avengers.

What about Brit Marling for Danvers. She'll be 32/33 when they shoot. Unknown. Check her out in The East.

Carol Danvers is an experienced Major. To be taken seriously, you have to assume the character is between 34-40 years old.

She is younger than Brit,. She is 30 and will be 32/33 when filming would occur. Plus she is a shitty actress anyway.

late 20s is as young as I'd go. She started out as a security chief at a secret base so she def would have to be a little experienced.

Just as long as they dont pull a Superman Returns and get somebody as young as Kate Bosworth for Lois it should be ok.

A lot of sites are dropping Katee Sackhoff as a good pick and I could see it.

I think the consensus is that it's Emily's Blunt role to turn down.

The setting of Captain Marvel is what I am most interested in. Space? Earth? Hala (Kree Homeworld)? Knowhere?

also-who else is crossing over? will we see Mar-vell? Rhodey bones her in the comic and we know Don Cheadle loves to bone white women. Guardians? Nova Crops? Inhumans and the Kree connection?

I also think this is a Marvel film that needs a lot of voice over by Danvers.

Think "Samantha Carter (Amanda Tapping)" in terms of how you portray the role.

Tapping was 31 years old when SG-1 first started and she played a senior Captain.

Not enamored with Blunt. Give me Rachel Nichols. She has the physicality down.

I have heard a rumor that Vin Diesel is tapped to play Black Bolt, so he would play one character as a voice actor only and another as a body actor only, as Black Bolt doesn't speak.

Oh, and early rumor is Christina Hendricks for Medusa. There is not nearly enough Inhumans talk. All you youngins ain't got no respect for the King, Jack MF'ing Kirby.

No way that happens. A red haired actress is not needed for a red haired character as seen by ScarJo.....and Hendricks does scream royalty to me...but that's just me.

IMO, the Inhumans are all about Crystal-she's the entry point with Quicksilver being the connective tissue. Only Inhuman to my recollection to be a proper Avenger as well.

Black Bolt is a star in the books, but I don't think you need a big time star to play him, Diesel or no Diesel. Black Bolt just needs to be stoic, express a connection with Medusa and be able to hold his own in fight scenes.

If the film is centered around the basic question of "Who the frick are the Inhumans/ and the royal family?" then again Crystal is where I'd start.

and I'd start with Alison Brie.

Think I touched on this before....but if you saw Andrew Garfield cast as Scott Summers and Emma Stone cast as Jean Grey would that be a distraction to the film? Not them individually of course, but both of them on screen together as a couple?

I know Hit Girl and Kick-arse on screen would take me out of one comic book movie and make me think of another.

You don't need a big star to play Black Bolt, but you probably need an impressive physical actor. And also, Vin likely WANTS to do it. He's a big ol nerd, and he's hinted in the past he would like the role. And it's not like Groot takes up a bunch of his time. He's already under contract, and he could pull double duty.

Inhumans definitely connects with both GotG and the Avengers. And I think the affair between Quicksilver and Crystal is the way to go (please don't let them get married because... ugh... he sucks SO much). But Quicksilver is a pretty destructive character who tends to link up disparate groups in their mutual hatred of him (though the idea of him exposing his own daughter to the Terrigen Mists is pretty cool).

So, are the Inhumans good guys or bad guys? Or both?
