Spinoff thread: Why do lesbians so often end up with girls who look like men?

If you're a girl, and you're gay - which means you're attracted to women, why would they prefer women who actually look and act masculine?
I suppose the same question could be asked about gay guys. If you're a dude who is into dudes - why would you be into guys who look and act like girls?
It doesn't make sense. It actually seems to be a bit contrary to who/what they claim to be.

Well, that's my initial thought when I consider the number of lesbians I see who are the stereotypical obese, manly looking dykes.
If you're into women, why not date someone who actually looks feminine? If you're into masculinity, then aren't you just choosing to date someone with a vagina instead of a dick?

there still needs to be a dominant person in the relationship

That first chick has a ton of facial hair. She must be taking testosterone.

I think they were in to masculinity all along, it's just they couldn't get masculinity with a dick to begin with so they picked the next best thing. Masculinity without a dick that couldn't get any dick either.

MOST but by lesbos are the dominant/alpha types.
When they date beautiful lesbian girls, usually the beautiful girl is extremely shy and submissive.
Butchs are the Alpha males of the lesbian scene

I just don't understand how the "beautiful lesbian girls" are in fact, lesbian, if they're attracted to someone she wouldn't know was a girl unless she asked.

I totally agree...... if I was a lesbian I'd want a chic that looks like a chic.
