Cricket kids sized. Single shot bolt action 22LR for teaching my little dudes how to shoot like the ole man.... Well, hopefully better than the one man.

Fun little gun to shoot.

Bought my son a T/C hot shot. Needs to go back to S&W. Hammer doesn't hit the round hard enough to fire most of the time.

But he loves to shoot the S&W 15-22 more.

Can't blame him there. Those are fun even for old farts.

My boys have put hundreds of rounds through their cricket with a chipmunk scope. You are correct on it being a fun gun to shoot with the kids

Blow up a bunch of small balloons and staple to board...hours of fun.

Did you buy the scope that is on the cricket website. Is it any good. My 5 and 4 year old both have them and was thinking of putting the scopes on to let them learn to shoot through a scope.

I've had it for at least 5 years. Gun was about $100 and scope was about $55. I put the scope on it for that same purpose. If or a learning tool I think it is worth it.

The guns are $99 at wally world and I bought a cricket scope mount, weaver rimfire rings and a cheap 4 x 32 compact scope on Amazon for another $50.

Here is exactly what I picked up:

On amazon, the mount is here: Mount

The scope is here (cheap, but well reviewed, seems to be holding true): Scope

Rings: Rings

I'm happy with the setup, both of the boys (5YO) took a few shots this afternoon and did pretty good for first timers.
