Do not see it posted so sorry if this has been discussed. Trying to link the WAFB article but on my cell.

Here's the link LINK

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - A fan died at the LSU-Ole Miss game Saturday night in Tiger Stadium, authorities said.

The LSU Sports Information Department released a statement just after midnight about the incident. Officials said a man suffered a heart attack in the fourth quarter of the game.
They added emergency medical personnel tried to resuscitate the man, but their efforts were unsuccessful. LSU offered its condolences to the man's family.

The East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office also confirmed the death. A name was not released.

When I finally have to leave this Earth, I hope it is in a similar fashion. Being surrounded with 100,000 of my closest friends sharing a great Tiger victory.

Started a thread about this on the SB last night. Happened right behind us in Section 409.

Lot of people stepped in to try and revive him to no avail.

Prayers to the family

It was discussed last night. He sat on my row. When the game was over it was a festive atmosphere and we were watching all of the pandemonium on the field. After a few minutes we started to walk down the row and he was laying on the cement between the bleachers. At first we thought he had just fallen. People were yelling for the medics, but with the crowd noise and the logjam of people, it was difficult to get their attention. The police and medics did an heroic job under the circumstances but to no avail. He was a nice man and he loved his Tigers. God bless him and his family. May he rest in peace. If I had to pick a way to go, this would be it. Quick, no suffering, hopefully with a smile on his face. And you can't even blame this heart attack on Les Miles.

What point in the 4th? Did he get to see the drive?

I wouldn't mind keeling over after the TD either.

I am pretty sure it happened as the game was ending. I didn't see him until a few minutes after the game was over and it looked as though it had just happened.
