How Wrong (or Rght) Were You in Your Pre-Game Prediction?

For us to win I thought we would have to be at least +2 in TO's and dominate on ST's. We did neither - and still won.
OL was stepping on chickens and soiling quilts tonight.
And our D, quite frankly, one of the best D performances in TS in the modern era.

I had the margin of victory exactly right, but thought each team would score more. 20-17 was my prediction. I said we'd need to force turnovers and make big special teams plays to win, so I was way off there.

I said 23-13 Ole Miss. I underestimated our defense. Our only real weakness there is against the interior run game which Ole Miss wasn't able to exploit. Our DB's and Kwon

I'll have to eat crow....I didn't think LSU would win....actually, they were the far better team....I'll be happy to admit I was wrong, in this case...

I has LSU winning close, but thought our defense would have to do a lot of bend but don't break. They flat out dominated.

Wonder if Detillier would like to weigh-in on this?

I said 21-13 LSU. So off on the scoreboard, but at least I got the team right.

I was expecting a 3-4 point win but expected a 21-17 type of game. If you think about it, we should have put up around 21 points on offense.

I knew we'd run on them. I thought about 190 for 3.8 a carry. Never thought we'd run as successful as we did.
I felt Ole Miss would struggle offensively, not as much as they did, but I don't trust them.
I thought going into tonight's game that Ole Miss would lose at least three games, and most likely four -- LSU, Auburn, MSU and Arkansas.
In short, I never bought Ole Miss. Great win vs Bama, but Bama ran all over them, and A&M doesn't even pretend to run the ball of play defense. They didn't really "show" me anything.
Suddenly, people forgot this team struggled big-time with Memphis and Boise State.
I thought LSU would win, 17-14. Was a touchdown off for each team.

I said this on Wednesday:
I'm pretty proud of it.

Yeah - I'd like to see how they react to a good 4 quarters of pounding and staying on the field.
If we can run it against them on first down, I think we can at least keep it close through 3 - if it's close at the end of the 3rd quarter, I think we win a close one.
If they get up 2 or 3 scores in the first (we have a defensive set back or just give up a couple of big plays) and force us to abandon the run? It could get ugly, quickly.
I'm pretty proud of it.

Good job Ace.
I thought we could win. But the path to victory I had in mind was way off.

Was right we wouldn't pass the ball, expected about 150 rushing. I think we're giving too much credit to the offense, d saved their butts. 10 points is not good, ball control and physicality were wonderful.

I gave Ole Miss's defense a lot of credit especially their run D. I also didn't think our Defense could contain Wallace while covering their recievers. Thought Ole Miss would win.
Glad I was wrong. GEAUX Tigers!!!!

Well, after reading the Rant all week and seeing it stated time after time that we would not be able to run the ball on the Miss. D if we only completed 7-8 passes and how our O sucked and how our QB sucked, I had us losing 35-0.
I am kidding, but if you would have told me we were going to have 4 T/Os I would have said we probably lose by 10-14.
The OL and the D seem to have turned a corner. If that continues, I look for 2-3 more wins.

Literally dead on, as usual.
I said we would run on them all we wanted in the 1st half. Then, in the 2nd half, they'd sell out to stop the run and we'd struggle a bit.
Though, if you would have told me that Jennings would throw two 2nd half interceptions, I would have told you that we lost.
