Will do!

So i just checked Buds again, curious if the price had changed. Now it's listed as "out of stock."

If I did the e-check (and I'm waiting for my check to clear), have I successfully reserved my gun? I'm hoping they don't notify me that the gun is out of stock since it wasn't when I initially purchased it.

Shoulda put it on the credit card and lost the 3% discount and I'd have the gun by now!

Call or email them. Their customer service is very helpful.

Thanks bapple. Just spoke with them and I'm good to go. E-check secures the item as opposed to mailing a check.

Pics to follow!

I love the look and feel of this gun. Now I need to learn how to field strip a 1911.

One more pic in its new holster; El Paso Saddlery Crosshair.

I want another 1911 pretty badly. That's a fine looking pistol. I've come close to buying another gun several times in the last week but have refrained. I think my next will be a 1911 chambered in 10mm. I really wish Dan Wesson still made their bobtail 10mm, that thing was a work of art.

Consider me warned. I'll try not to scratch it up.

Not sure I know about VZ grips, but I'll take a look.

Dont worry, youll still scratch it. If youre really worried about it, slide a playing card in between the pin and the frame while reassembling. Great looking gun! I have the colt commander model and it has never jammed and shoots straight.

No reason to create an idiot scratch if you just take your time. No need to use a card either.

Position the slide stop in place and sort of 'roll' it up into the plunger. Check out youtube for some vids. it is actually easy to do once you get the hang of it.

Oh, and nice pistol.
