For short-range travel, moving sidewalks (with benches on either side, standing room in the center) will be making their appearance in downtown sections. They will be raised above the traffic. Traffic will continue (on several levels in some places) only because all parking will be off-street and because at least 80 per cent of truck deliveries will be to certain fixed centers at the city's rim. Compressed air tubes will carry goods and materials over local stretches, and the switching devices that will place specific shipments in specific destinations will be one of the city's marvels.

It actually is illegal to be behind someone's house with a gun Sherlock.

Haha. Did you fail to copy the correct thing to quote?

That stands for the proposition that it's illegal to be behind someone's house with a gun?

I lived in BP back in the early 80s. I found the people to be friendly, salt-of-the earth. I must say I was a little apprehensive before the move, given I was a grad student from California. One of the first things a local said to me after I introduced myself was "California...damn that is wose than being a Yankee."

If a girl falsely accused you of rape would you hide out behind her house with a gun? If it was me, I would wait out at the driveway for the cops to get there.

Armed rapist usually don't let their victims call the cops?

You're right. I'm sure people who are behind houses, armed with a gun, are good productive citizens.

Kill the mother fricker.
