Are the Pelicans really this close to selling out against the Magic...during football season?

What is this world?

There is pretty much nothing left on ticketmaster in the lower bowl or the first 10-15 rows of the upper bowl. Looks like maybe 1500 tickets left. (for those that don't know, Ticketmaster is the first party distributor for the Pelicans so what they have is pretty much what the Pelicans have. I use this when I talk to my rep about getting additional seats)

That is a pretty good sight to see.

Damn that's good. Hopefully most of the seats will be filled.

But...it is Opening Night. The first night is always well attended. Let's see how they do through December.

just a little opening night news

Oladipo out indefinitely with facial fracture

Victor Oladipo will be out indefinitely after suffering a facial fracture during Thursday's practice.

Oladipo received an accidental elbow to the face during Thursday's practice, and is set to undergo surgery on Saturday. This is a devastating blow for one of our favorite breakout candidates, and this news likely means that Evan Fournier will be the starting two-guard, with Ben Gordon seeing minutes off the bench

well, there was talks that Payton and Oladipo would share PG duties when they were on the floor together so looks like Payton now has all those minutes.

no, probably won't be full but still may be a sellout...I think 17000 is a sellout and capacity is almost 18k so they are less than 1000 from a sellout if that ticketmaster link is any indication.

Victor Oladipo will be out "indefinitely" after he suffered a facial fracture in practice Thursday.

Team officials say Oladipo received an accidental elbow in the face during a practice drill, and he will undergo surgery Sat.

and Heady thinks he's committed :roll eyes:

my family will use them when i'm not in town and whatever games they don't use i'll sell or give away on here. i'll get like 4 games when i'm around for Christmas. it's a worthwhile investment, since i'll hopefully be back in Louisiana in a year and a half or so.
