My father attended one particular LSU game when beer was sold in the stadium. On this particular night he went on a beer run and heard the crowd erupt. He rushed back to the entrance just in time to see Billy Cannon cross the goal line after returning a punt for a TD against the Rebels of Oxford.

Not to worry...it's coming...the SEC and LSU just didn't want to be "out front" on that, but it's coming.I'd imagine by 2015 and the very least 2016 beer will be sold in TigerStadium and all SEC stadiums.

Morale of the story, not only should you not leave tiger stadium until after the janitors are done cleaning it but you should never leave your seat for any reason or you are a bad fan

Then again, approx. 15 years later some friends and I were in the astrodome watching the Astros play Atlanta. We had a section of the outfield seats to ourselves. In this case we all went on a beer run. We too heard the crowd erupt, went to see what the commotion was and got there just in time to see a Hank Aaron home run ball land in the general area if our seats.

Where is the "tongue in cheek" symbol. My family laughs about both stories.

I will probably not attend a game in Tiger Stadium with beer being sold. Unless I am in a suite.

I cant imagine the second half of any game being enjoyable.

I was at a game in Tiger Stadium just a couple of years ago. I went to get something to eat. I heard the crowd erupt

I rushed back to my seats just in time to see me being born.

Late in the 4th quarter with the game on the line and LSU getting the ball back and he was going on a beer run? His mistake.

So beer was sold in the stadium the last time LSU had a Heisman Trophy winner? Sounds like we need to start selling beer again so we can break the no-Heisman curse.

Never gonna happen
