Nice surprise dinner at Carrollton Market tonight. Went for the happy hour (no longer includes food) and ended up ordering Food and drinks.

Started with a few old fashioneds, and they were excellent. Decided to order a few entrees since we were hungry. Ordered the pork belly dish friend ordered the ricotta cavatelli. They apparently forgot our order so they brought us a few other courses. They sent us the gazpacho, and oysters Goodenough. Both were really good though the soup could have used an added kick.

Entrees were both ok but maybe a little underwhelming. No showstoppers between the two.

Drinks are legit, but sad to see no more food for happy hour.

I'm assuming the soup pic is the gazpacho ? The dishes look very nice.

Yes. It was pretty damn good, but I could have used a touch of heat.

All the dishes were attractive. Sad I forgot the pics of oysters and cavatelli. Oysters are really tasty as they are fried with a bernaise sauce, bacon and onion. I've had them before and I don't remember the oyster being fried. Think I prefer them grilled with that kind of approach.
