This is why Philip Rivers is the official quarterback of the MSB.

I love Phil. I want Todd Haley to wind up coaching the Chargers somehow, those two together would spawn some amazing gifs

I thought that orginally, but looking back SD played them very tough both games last year, and beat them in Denver. This isn't going to be a walk in the park for Denver.

Philip was a few years ahead of me in high school and would sometimes come over to party with my older brothers. A little egotistic at times, but always a nice dude.

I wish his brother had 1/4 the talent he did.

I watched a few of Stephen's HS games. For some reason the kid liked to scramble, even though his gait resembled a wounded giraffe. How the frick he got an LSU offer is beyond me.

Not that San Diego has no chance, but that victory last year at Denver had some extenuating factors that do no apply to night. First of all, it was late in the season and the Broncos were really banged up, way more than San Diego. The exact opposite is the case here. Other than the middle linebacker and running back, Denver has no injuries to speak of while San Diego is probably going to be without their top two cornerbacks along with some other major injuries.

Even the two Denver injuries aren't that bad. The back-up running back is significantly outplaying the hurt starter right now. The hurt middle linebacker is no world beater. He was a 6th round pick a couple of years ago and his replacements are serviceable - 5th rd pick Lamin Barrow still can't even get on the field.

If the Broncos lose, it will be because they came out really flat like they did last year in that loss to San Diego.

I cannot stand Rivers. He is such a baby on the field. I enjoy seeing him lose. Beating him in the playoffs and seeing him throw a little tantrum on the sideline was sweetness.

I think the Broncos win, but I think they'll have a tough go of it. Natural letdown spot given the party atomesphere last Sunday.

Quite possible and that is my biggest fear. Broncos should roll lacking a letdown. Chargers won last year by rushing for 177 yards and holding the ball for 40 minutes. Broncos significantly upgraded and now have the 3rd best rushing defense in the league and can really get after the QB. They lead the league in percentage of drives that are 3 and out. If they can do that tonight, it really disrupts the Charger's playbook for beating Manning and we might have another 42-17 laugher.

He's gone from one of the most hated to one of the most beloved players on this board.
