I am trading Gordon. Leaning towards yes, only hesitation is Edelman hasn't produced too much recently and I already have Gronk.

PPR

Three WR league. In 7th place, 6 teams make playoffs.

Other WR's.Calvin, Kelvin Benjamin, Michael Floyd, Percy, Davonte Adams.

Clearly a WR lineup of Calvin, Kelvin and Gordon would be great for the playoffs...but I have to get there first.

Thoughts?

Have you shopped him around to see if you could do better?

I would be ok with Edelman, but it would not be the ideal guy Id want after holding Gordon for 6 weeks.

Josh Gordon won't play football for 10 weeks. 10 weeks. Why does everyone think he's just gonna jump back on the field and not skip a beat? Yes he was great last year. But he won't take a snap in 10 weeks.

Plus Hoyer has been a garbage can.

Do what you want, but anyone who thinks they're getting the Josh Gordon of last year is crazy.

Eta: I thought you were getting Gordon.. Trade him.

He's been allowed to practice so he could potentially make an immediate impact. Also, he was money last year with garbage QB play.

Key word, last year. See Jordan Cameron.

He's not coming off an injury so the assumption is
a) he is 100% healthy
b) the best WR in football didn't forget how to play football

If LeBron James was suspended for half the NBA season do you think he wouldn't be the same pretty much his first game or 2 back?

Yea. It looks like Edelman is the ceiling in my league.

And GTO I agree that Gordon might not come in and be an immediate impact but the Hoyer argument doesn't make sense to me. See Brandon Weeden and Jason Campbell.

frick I'm torn. Might wait a week. And if I win keep him and if i lose trade.

Come on. Youre not comparing Lebron to Josh Gordon, are you?

Ok... Michael Crabtree didn't play his first game until week 13 last year due to an Achilles injury. In week 16, I started him and he scored 15 points and I won my league.

Gordon > Crabtree

Bc it's a new year, with new players. You can't expect the same chemistry like last year when he was great, while missing 10 weeks of real game football. Don't tell me were talkin bout practice?

You tell me one WR who's missed this much football has come back and make an immediate impact?

I would wait a week

I know it sounds crazy, but I really like Percy Harvin now that he's with the Jets. The Jets are a team lacking playmakers and should force feed him the ball. Marty Morningwheg falls under the Andy Reid coaching tree much like Brad Childress (former MIN HC). Flash back to 2011 when Harvin caught a bunch of balls on short, intermediate passes in MIN. Could be similar to Edelman in a PPR league except he can break one every time he touches it.

Crabtree played 5 games in 13. Had 19 catches with 1 TD. That would be upsetting for Gordon owners to wait all this time and get that production.

I don't expect it but you also can't say it's not a possibility. I mean he missed the first two games last year and then immediately lit it up in his first game back.

Spin it how you want. He missed most of the year and then came back and was fantasy relevant. And again, that's Michael Crabtree.

And I was not upset with his production the week I played him.

Yeah, I am very intrigued by him. I have no idea what his involvement will be, but I was laughing when people were upset Seattle traded him.

I'm hoping it opens up some room for Decker... Who has been suprisingly effective this year. Can only help.

Yes, I could be wrong. Who knows? Gordon was a beast last year. But like I said, it's this year and things have changed. Yes he did miss 2 games last year. This year he will miss 10.

You do realize he's been at the facilities practicing, working out and watching film everyday right? Also, aside from Norv Turner, what's changed in Cleveland from last year?
