You tell me one WR who's missed this much football has come back and make an immediate impact?

Terrell Owens missed the last 6 weeks of the season with Philly years back and went off in the Superbowl which was 8 wks later. Looked it up, 9 catches for 122 yards.

The passing game has regressed without turner. Less yards, less attempts etc

Cleveland led the NFL in pass attempts last year. They currently sit at 30th in pass attempts this year.

Gordon's success had a lot to do with the sheer volume of passes he saw in 2013

You think the passing game regressing has more to do with Turner leaving or not having Josh Gordon to throw to? It almost seems like you are expecting Cleveland to not throw the ball MORE when Gordon comes back?

Detroit's passing game has regressed too. Why is that?

From Norv's system to Kyle Shannahan

They went from most pass attempts to least pass attempts...

And least rush attempts to 9th in rush attempts...

Kyle Shannahan Did the same in Washington. He force fed Alf Morris and used the passing game to complement the run.

Detroit is still one of the most pass happy teams in the league without calvin Johnson.

You think cleveland is waiting for gordon to start passing the ball 30 times a game? Just change the game plan and shannahan's offensive philosophy in week 12? Hmmmm ok

Did Shanahan not prove that he'll force feed his no.1 WR? Pierre Garcon, of all people, had 184 targets?

No, I think theyre waiting on Gordon to start passing the ball 40 times a game since they are already throwing it 32 times a game.

garcon didn't jump into a new offense in W12

A jump in attempts from 32 attempts to 40 with a backfield like they have in Cleveland

Manziel factor looms

No Alex Mack

It's just not as cut and dry, plug and play as people make it out. There's a ton of variables that weren't present last year

I think you're understimating how much Gordon missing 10 weeks of real game time will affect him.

Gordon is going to be an awesome Flex2 player in my 10-team PPR. Antonio, TY, Wallace, Gordon.

He's not an offensive lineman or a linebacker that needs to feel that game. He is typically in a one on one matchup every play. His job is to run a route and catch a ball. He has been working out and practicing all year. You think it will take him more than a half of a game at the most to adjust. He is not a major league baseball starter.

Edit: Why do you think this? Why do you think he will need the long adjustment period?

Gyno, over/under 10 targets his first wk back? I say over and it's not even close.

You're acting as if it's irrational to question that gordon isn't going to step in and go for 150 and a TD every week

Correct me if I'm wrong

You can question a lot of things, but I don't think anyone is questioning Gordon's skill

You cant. So do you think he will get 10 targets from day 1?

Yes, and I think everyone who owns Gordon is expecting those type stats.

I think Hoyer has regressed. I have Jordan Cameron so I have watched my fair share of Browns games. He's missing receivers pretty often.

Yes Gordon should help. But he ain't likely to put up Antonio Brown numbers right off the bat.

I don't know. That's one of the things Im questioning?

I've hedged my bets on gordon. Owned in 4 leagues, traded him in 2. Part of me thinks he will be a legit threat, part of me thinks he will be keenan Allen like cock tease
