Mark Wahlberg drops 60 lbs - 197 lbs to 137 lbs for new movie, "The Gambler"

"At one point, we went to Montecito [California]. We went to church, and then we went by this little cafe, and I just wanted to sit there and smell the food. And she was like, ‘What are you doing?’ Then I snapped at her. I said, ‘This is all I got. And you know what? I want to do it. I’ll stay here as long as I want. You take the car, go back and come get me.’ And I just stayed there, smelling the food."

Actors, (or anyone) never look the same after they do that much rapid weight loss. I like the guy & hope he gets a weird Lincoln commercial or something out of it.

He may have gotten to 197 for that bodybuilding movie but he's nowhere near that normally. He's 5'2.

Exactly. Losing the muscle gained from HGH'ing for a role as a body builder is pretty easy. I'm sure that accounts for a large portion of the 60lbs.

When I would regular diet for shows I could lose 15-20 lbs in just water. If you diet wrong it can go away real quick. That's what he did. He didn't try to preserve muscle so it was probably easier to lose.
