Maybe you should rephrase that to "RDJ is a dude playing a dude in a suit inside another suit."

"Inside another dude" just sounds, well, weird.

I like the random ballet shot. That's Joss Whedon's ballerina fetish coming back again.

Why not just introduce Pym before this movie so you wouldn't have to create a new story?

They could still do that. Have Michael Douglas appear in a 2-3 episode arc of Agents of Shield between April 28th and May 12th.

Could be a Black Widow flashback.

They can't kill an Avenger. That would limit their future movies. Looks like Hulk will end up off Earth by the end of the movie though. Ant Man rumors suggest Black Widow gets thrown in jail in Cap 3 so that takes her out for a few movies.

Possibly. That dude just loves him some ballet (see the commentary on the Angel episode "Waiting in the Wings").

I think Hank Pym created Ultron in the comics so it looks like they're changing that for the movies.

you can thank Edgar Wright for taking a million years to make Ant Man for that one. Joss wanted Hank Pym in the first avengers but couldn't use him since Ant-Man was still in development hell.

you must not post here often

You and your MOS defenders are being willfully ignorant to the criticisms of the destruction in that flick at this point b/c its been explained many, many times why it was an issue to so many viewers.

You may as well be a political tv talk show "commentator" if you are going to just flat out reduce the complaints down to "Dark and destruction in both why complain only about one!?!@"

Looks really sweet. However, I see a ton of destruction, I wonder if this will get as much as shite as MOS did? Somehow I doubt that.
That was such a stupid argument.

This, people complaining about collateral destruction in a goddamn superhero movie, GTFO

Which makes it seem like Thanos threatening Earth is pushed to A4.

I love theorizing so....
1. AoU has the major fallout, Cap creates new team (maybe backed by SWORD), Stark goes into Secretary of Defense/Politics, Thor returns to Asgard, Hulk goes into space.

2. Cap 3 plays out the post-AoU storyline of Cap vs. Stark, includes Stark looking for the murderer of his parents...WS

3a. Thor gets a purely cosmic film (no Earth scenes), perhaps with Hulk
or
3b. Hulk is in Guardians 2
or
3c. Hulk has a standalone Planet Hulk movie

4. Other characters introduced - Strange, Ant-Man already, then some selection of Panther, Marvel, an unknown (Wonder Man!)

5a. Civil War continues to play out in A3. Cap team vs. Secretary Stark and Registration (or some scaled down form of it)
OR
5b. If one theory is true, A3 is about a completely new team. So Witch, Plus maybe Thor and Widow with the other new characters

6. In either case, Hulk RETURNS to planet Earth to warn the heroes in the beginning of A4 (or in a post-credit scene), just ahead of....

Thanos. Heroes reunite. Battle ensues.

If Thanos is not the plan for A3, I would expect him to be a major villain in either Guardians 2, Thor 3 or the standalone Hulk film.

It is frustrating and I'm easily derailed talking about it.

In theory, so was Civil War. Civil War isn't confirmed but we are heading in that direction.

And yes, Planet Hulk was shot down but I think the Hulk to space post-AoU, Hulk participates in Thor or Guardians or has a standlone film, Hulk returns to Earth to warn about Thanos, makes too much sense as we inch forward to the release of the next phase of films.

We may not get "Planet Hulk," but I think if we get a Hulk standalone, it's going to be somewhere in the cosmic setting, no Earth.

I think we see Hulk in GOTG2. They'll find another infinity jewel and Banner says something about having one of those on Earth. Star Lord mentions he's from Earth so that gives him another excuse to go track it down. They work their way towards Earth for A4, meanwhile Thanos or maybe The Collector, finds out about all this and follows them back setting up A4.
