Actually, adamantium I believe was a failed experiment to create vibranium, so it's really even stronger than adamantium.

The trailer made the movie seem like it will be a lot darker than the previous one.

Is this movie going to have an Avenger die?

From IMDB.

quote:

On James Spader's first day on set, the cast were so impressed and blown away by his performance that they applauded and cheered for him after his first take.

I didn't link it because there is some stuff in the Trivia area that could be taken a spoilers.

Several rumors are that one or two will die.

It sucks, but I think right now Hawkeye is the odds on favorite.

Doubt they will kill off any of the Avengers yet, but I have seen speculation that...

The shots of Thor dropping Mjolnir and Thor going after Tony are related to the death of Jane Foster.

I think they may be setting the stage for Civil War and the Superhuman Registration Act by maximizing the collateral damage to civilians in this one.

I thought Spader's performance would be all voice? Were they all around him while he recorded it?

Is there a reason why Stark is taking the blame for Ultron?

Why not just introduce Pym before this movie so you wouldn't have to create a new story?

Again, I think they are setting the stage for Civil War and are using this to establish a feeling of guilt for Tony to justify his role.

Yes, he was there. Also from IMDB.

quote:

Because Ultron was described as 8-9 feet tall, James Spaderhad to wear an antennae-like contraption made out of a thick piece of wire with two red balls attached to the top that went up his entire back and 3 feet above his head. This was done so that the actors that shared scenes with him would be able to have a reference point for where his eyes would be (the two red balls represented the placement of Ultron's eyes). Elizabeth Olsen stated that this was actually distracting because Spader would be giving an intense performance and out of instinct she would look at him rather than the balls representing his eyes. Much to everyone's amusement, whenever this happened, Aaron Taylor-Johnson would yell, "Red balls! Look at his balls, Lizzie!" at her in order to get her to look in the right direction.

SPOILERS

Potential Death List
Hawkeye
Jane Foster
Maria Hill
Pepper Potts
Rhodey

I'd say they drop at least 2 of these, possibly three.

Whatever happens is going to drive the wedge between Cap and IM for Cap 3. It will also lead into the Civil War-like storyline I assume. But less grand scale, more personal.

Not in the film. It said this is the first appearance of IM without Pepper and Thor without Loki.

There are rumors, also, that....

Possible Spoiler.

In the scene where the Witch is crying, that she may be mourning Quicksilver's death.

Agree completely.

As a side note, I loved this comment on the trailer from reddit:

Marvel is going to be able to afford Mars after this one

[–]
And shoot Planet Hulk there.

In the comics, adamantium was the result of a failed experiment to recreate the unknown Vibranium alloy in Captain America's shield (unknown because the creator fell asleep while making it ). Adamantium is portrayed as being stronger, but Vibranium is easier to work with and often more useful.

That would be ballsy. Very interesting. And it might help to have only one Quicksilver running around on screen for Marvel.

I feel like this would also make Black Panther much more likely.

SPOILER

The other rumor is that Cap forms his own team after the movie.

That would support the idea that they are going with Civil War.

So if Ultron and Vision are basically "good" and "bad" aspects of J.A.R.V.I.S. and Ultron is singing "Got No Strings".........

The Vision is Jimminy Cricket?

Also, if Hulkbuster is Iron Man's Iron Man Suit, then Robert Downy Jr. is a dude playing a dude in a suit inside another dude.

But I would like for an Avenger to die. No way it's Cap, IM, or Thor.

I hope it's Hawkeye
