Why Ole Miss Might Win

All of their points seem to point to the following: Alabama got caught off guard in a rebuilding year, they beat up on an overrated aTm team that has zero defense, and forced a mediocre Tenn team to beat them through the air.

I just don't think this game is David vs Goliath.

LSU is gonna have ole miss loaded up looking for the run early. If Jennings is on, LSU can burn them. It'll be safe throws where execution is at a premium from the receivers and the QB.

Miles needs to stir up some chaos. I'm expecting 2 safeties, 5 false starts, a ST TD and Magee having more passing yards than Jennings.

surprisingly he was in a thread earlier talking about how he is WAY right more times than he is wrong. I think there are going to be a lot of NEGATIGERS that will have to be talked down off a ledge after Saturday night. Ole Miss is getting far too much respect, and LSU far too little. Except from Vegas. LSU hasn't lost by double digits at home in about 6 years I believe.....it ain't going to happen with Ole Miss and this record crowd. This will be a great bump thread after the game.

I really enjoy a victory more whenever we are not "even in the radar". While I think that it will not be a walk in the park, it will be a "w" for us.

most people make this mistake. When your offense scores 40 points on the road, you should win every single time. If you don't, the problem is defense or special teams. Guess which of the 2 was responsible for the ole miss loss.

I think LSU wins a close one. I just have that bloated gut feeling about this one. If we get on the Ole Miss side of the 50 and are 4th and short we have to go for it! The offense must exude passion and aggressiveness Saturday night. They must stay on the field.

I'm predicting LSU will shock folks in this game. I believe they will play far better than most expect.

and if they do...and if we dominate....you know that the reason will be that Ole Miss was overrated.....but, to your point, I think this team will be ready.

It's like you are exploding with excitement. You predicted this, and some media picked the score, and you take it as the truth, or that it somehow validates your opinion. good god....seriously. the intelligence level is just wow with some of these idiots.

What are you talking about? LSU gave up 27 to Ole Miss last year. You're thinking of the other red team.

Mettenberger threw three INTs (against one TD) and threw for only 8.3 yards per pass. By contrast, he threw for over 10 yards per pass in a 38-17 loss to Bama. I wasn't really disappointed with giving up 27, I was disappointed with not scoring 28 or more.

yep. Georgia game. Whoops.

Anyway, I still think the defense was a bigger problem than mett in that game. They got torched for the 2nd year in a row. Freeze has made chavis look pretty bad.

Because I didn't see the tentative sloppiness I had seen in previous games. They seemed more confident and fiery on both sides if the ball. I expect that to continue.

We'll need at least 14 Def and ST points to even be in the game. Our offense is not moving the ball against Ole Miss.

I will NEVER be on the LEDGE no matter what happens in a college football game... That's where we differ ALOT. You take this LSU football shite WAY to serious.... I just offer what I have seen and have an opinion on it.. You get GASSED when anyone may say anything negative about LSU even if it is FACT.... You are a pathetic and helpless homer .... I can't WAIT to talk sunday morning to see what excuses you will have. IF Ole Miss wins... NOW I hope I am wrong. I am a huge LSU fan, but just gotta go with what I have seen so far and it doesn't look good.
