Probably Dell voted for him.

Also, AD Possibly would have been best PF if people wouldn't have voted him a center.

Tied, yes. It's pretty clear that 28 gms voted. Davis got 6 of 28 votes for a PF had the one person who voted for him at center voted him at PF he'd be in a 3 way tie. Which I'm sure this board would still throw a fit about.

Not really. Blake and Lamarcus are outstanding players. To be tied with them at this point is great.

I expect him to be the clearcut #1 at this point next year though.

Meh, I wouldn't care if he was tied with Aldridge or Griffin, they are both great players, with much more experience. I think he's better, but wouldn't fault someone else for disagreeing.

Where was this poll a week ago? Would you have saved me a serious butt kicking I got on here..

I'm surprised the Stephenson deal wasn't included. It was kind of a last minute deal and Charlotte hasn't got too much pub about it.

Sort of Pelican related. Grantland did the preview on the Pacers today and mentioned that the Pacers might be looking to dump West and Hibbert. They mentioned moving West to Charlotte for Vonelah or Zeller (both?). It makes me wonder if they might look to pick up Gordon in a trade. Or maybe we can sneak in as a 3rd partner, when they move one of their big contracts. They are looking to clear house (other than George). So maybe they take a flyer on Gordon, especially if he is willing to sign a low dollar/more years extension..

Just released today. I was in the thread that you are talking about I believe it was THIRLLHO who said that NBA GMs wouldn't favour Howard over other centers. Maybe someone can direct him to this thread.

It would have to be a 3rd team moving a SF/Wing to us, because we wouldn't be looking to add Hibbert or West.

That's not entirely accurate. The context was Dwight wasn't significantly better to to the point that Memphis would trade Gasol and a 1st for Howard for example. GMs saying Howard is the best center doesn't give us an indication of his relative trade value to Gasol and Noah.

Probably half of the GMs think it's a bad deal because he's a knucklehead and the other half wonder about his fit with Charlotte not having many spacers, especially in the starting lineup.

For sure or maybe just to finally free us of Gordon. The Pacers really have nothing to offer us (maybe a pick?). But it'd be nice to free some room for next summer..
