If you hit that sweet spot, then your bench isnt likely that good IMO

It sucks to be torn between who to start every week.

this year I'm not there, but my draft and bench were good last year...I guess I was just curious how often this happens because I've only hit that sweet spot once. How often is the unstoppable, 100% kick your arse lineup assembled? I'd imagine it's a once every few years type of things per league

last year my draft was awesome save for my first 2 runningbacks...I traded vjax and jordy for bush and gonzo as my only holes in my entire lineup were at RB2 and TE...I had the niners D and gostkowski...I was sitting really good players every week. I forget who, after my byes I unloaded my bench for handcuffs

I was ready to go wr/wr last year and this year, but I keep getting stuck with these high picks

I think that's the way to do it.

maybe even wr/wr/wr and find the gems at RB, the rookies, etc.

holy shite, you make a move for a TE and you're unbeatable

jesus effing Christ

if you get bonuses for 100 yards rushing/receiving, then I don't see that team losing. Even if montee ball gets his job back, tate will tote it 20+ times a game no matter the score

I've been that way for 3 years now and i've been leading the league in scoring the last 3 years, 10 team PPR.

I do my best to get rid of my bench players in trades to get starters the close i get to the playoffs.
There's no point in having a bench once you get to about week 10 or 11. IF you get injuries then, so be it. I've gotten rid of Bush, Desean, Bradshaw, FJax, J Gordon, and Gates to get Bell and DT88 in trades.

Rivers

LBell
Hillman or Jennings

Dez
AJ
DT88

Gronk

Bench is Reuben Randle while AJ and Rashad are hurt and Reed for Gronk's bye. Rest of my bench is worthless pretty much.
I pickup the defense playing the Jags two weeks early, so that's the only position i have decisions on. I'm just rotating defenses that play the Jags or Tampa or whoever starts a new qb that week like Minny when they started Ponder.

12 team standard

Romo
Forte
Morris
J. Nelson
TY Hilton
J. Maclin
M. Bennett
J. Tucker
I stream my D/ST every week

Bench
Watkins
Hillman
Malcolm Floyd
Gordon
Bryce Brown

Trying to upgrade at RB2 by packaging Morris and a WR (Maclin). But no one is biting. Now I am trying to get Olsen.

Standard 12 team league. I got Matt Forte and Demarco Murray through huge week 2 trades. I better win it all or I will be beyond disappointed.

QB- Cam Newton
RB- Demarco Murray
RB- Matt Forte
WR- Antonio Brown
WR- Kelvin Benjamin
TE- Delanie Walker
Flex- Jamaal Charles
D/ST- Streaming
K- Cody Parkey

Bench-Romo
Bench- Steven Jackson
Bench-Josh Gordon
Bench-Doug Baldwin
Bench- Ray Rice
Bench- Knile Davis
Bench- Legarette Blount

Only decision each week is what defense to stream. trying to trade somebody on my bench for a good defense. Will have to start one from my bench week 9 and 11 because of Forte and Murray's bye weeks.

Also, Brown and Benjamin have byes week 12 but Gordon comes back

The goal is to get there as quickly as possible every year. Trade anybody of value on the bench to upgrade the starters has won me more titles than I can count.

Depth is the most overrated thing in FF. Injuries happen. Yup it sucks. But I'm certainly not gonna turn down Forsett/Floyd (Ari)/OBJ for Jordy just because it'll ruin my "depth". I'll take my chances.

My strategy has been trade rape while making the other guy think they got a deal or by actually helping them. When you're starting Smith (ATL)/Asiata at RBs, getting Forsett/DMC/Oliver for Jordy certainly helps the former Jordy owner. Screw depth

This strategy has netted this 10 team PPR starting line up:

QB: Cutler
WR1: Brown (Pit)
WR2: Julio
WR3: Floyd (Ari) Will be Gordon week 12 on hopefully
RB1: Murray
RB2: Forte
TE: Kelce
Flex: Bell (Pit)
K: Parkey
DEF: Stream

Bench- Roddy
Bench- Holmes
Bench- Jordan Reed

Every year i've been able to trade away multiple bench players, fringe starters, to get sure starters such as Marshall, Calvin, Bell, DT88, Foster, Forte.

You have to prey on teams that are desperate.
I try to give away 1 starter off my team and 1 or 2 bench players that can start on someone else's team, and i get back an elite player.
Some people are stupid and will trade players out of desperation b/c of bye weeks or short term injuries.

that's beatable to me. every single one of those guys could give you a dud THIS week. I guess I'm speaking about a lineup or a long stretch lasting all the way to the championship (most of the season really) where every single guy in your lineup is killing it so bad, that low double digits doesn't even do it for you.

My problem is consistency at RB2, flex is also a confusing play and I'll overthink at times.

(12 team .5 PPR)
QB:
Brady
WR:
Dez Bryant
Kelvin Benjamin
RB:
Demarco Murray
Reggie Bush/Frank Gore/Chris Ivory/Tre Mason
Flex:
Mike Wallace/Vincent Jackson
TE:
Delanie Walker
K:
Dan Bailey
DEF:
Arizona

Overall, I have a team filled with people that can go off at anytime. Lots of good depth. It's so hard to figure out who to play between RB and flex though, maybe I'll need to make a trade. I think I have enough depth to go for one.
