Will we ever see NCAA football in the next generation?

Even if they can't truly add players just put the teams in with random players and make everything customizable. Then the fans can make the rosters themselves.

It sucks that EA was in the middle of making it for next gen when it got canceled.

i was hoping one of EA's competitors would jump at the opportunity, since the rights are supposedly non-exclusive now....maybe someone will have one ready for next season?

Because it seemed pretty clear that they were basing it on actual, with just different names and a couple of changed races and numbers for plausible deniability

UT came out today and said they would be paying athletes 10k each, 5k of which would be for the use of their image. I would think that falls under this, but I imagine every FBS school has to do something like that for them to be able to make another game

Of course we will.
It's barely been a full year since the last college game and there's already significant change on its way through the pipeline. Give it 3-4 years.

With the new advances I've seen on the next gen Madden and 2k it could be amazing.
