like tirico as a play by play but gruden is so annoying I can't handle it.

Didn't like Gruden until the fail mary game. Just seeing the look on his face told me how much passion he has for the sport, it looked like he wanted to murder someone, although he kinda looks like that anyway. That kinda made up for all those uber positive comments he makes about average players being one of the best at that thing he's ever seen, "That guy runs laps in practice about as well as any player I've ever seen" etc.

In the book "Inside ESPN", Tirico was ripped in one chapter for being a huge sexist/womanizer. There were several quoted instances where young female interns filed sexual harrassment claims against him only to be bought off. Stopped liking him ever since.

I don't like him because after he makes an error he spends 5 minutes making excuses about it.

Sean Salisbury? He would rip on Clayton all the time for being a nerd. It added zero substance but it was hilarious

Mano y mano.

There was a thread on the Score Board the other night about making it into a drinking game every time he said that. As soon as I finished reading the thread he said it again.

Other than his repetitive catchphrases, I like Jesse. Always have. But I would think that someone with ESPN's QB Dept (assuming they have one) would point that out to him eventually.

Honestly most of the "expert analysts" suck. The best ones are the hosts of those said shows or SC anchors.

He's one of the worst IMO.

I like Spielman. He's really good in the booth, and he was a fricking man on the field. I have a lot of respect for that dude.

actually had a long conversation on the show last week about the dick pic. he never sent it to anyone, it was on his phone, but somehow someone at ESPN knew about it and he got fired for it 2 years after the incident.

A lot of people don't know who he is, but RoFlo does the ESPN Football Today podcast with a former Browns scout named Matt Williamson, and he's fantastic.

Williamson used to be recruiting coordinator at Pitt and Akron before getting a job in the Browns scouting department under Butch Davis. He writes a lot of insider pieces behind their paywall about the NFL, so he doesn't get much exposure but his insights are great and he's pretty funny. He mostly refuses to touch on off-field drama and sticks mostly with Xs and Os.

1. I don't like him so much as I enjoy his play by play for MNF, I don't "like" anyone on ESPN because I don't know them.
