he is a loud mouth blowhard. he is so proud of his own opinions and loves to hear his own voice.

and I hate when arrogant assholes believe their opinion isnt debatable and 100% fact. Most of you here can relate

Ole Miss has beaten one decent team this year, at home, barely

And how many decent teams has LSU beaten?????

. They also gave up over 150 rushing yards to them

And Bamas running game is way better than LSU'S they also have something LSU severely lacks. Offensive balance.

As for Alabama....they looked good last week

NOBODY in the country would have beaten Bama last sat.

but at least try and be objective.

For LSU to have ANY chance of beating either...They MUST pass the ball with much better results....

Hows that for objective.....

Detillier is no better than the psychic hotline, in other words, a total bullshitter. He picks LSU to lose the last 4 games, games LSU will likely be underdogs in?

Even though his Draft Report is rife with grammar and spacing errors it's still an enjoyable read.

I guess I'm in the minority because I like him. I definitely wouldn't like to listen to him 3 hours a day, 5 days a week but I enjoy his segment and respect his opinion. I also am reasonable enough to know that it's only his opinion and he doesn't state it to be fact. Honestly, most of you are idiots if you don't think that he knows more about football that you. It's what he does for a living for Gods sake.

All that being said, I really enjoy the Ed Orgeron segment on the morning show on Tuesdays. He always has some awesome stories about things that go on in practices, meetings, or mostly the recruiting trail.

While driving in for LSU v. Florida years ago I heard Detillier the first time. LSU was undefeated and in the top 10 and Florida was sucking in what I think was Zooks last year. Huge blowout for LSU was expected by all.

Detillier breaks it down and says Florida has better athletes and has under performed, he then breaks down the top 5 draftees on each team. He picks Florida to win. We laugh it off and keep drinking.

Not only did Florida win, but they won the way Detillier broke it down. Then the draft rolls around, every player he evaluated went in the round he predicted.

You may not like what he says or the way he says it but the guy knows his stuff.

Bottom line is it is hard for even the experts to pick even one game correctly. Picking a block of four games (isn't that like 1/3 of the season?) can't really be anything more an exercise in guesswork.

So many things can happen between now and then to all teams involved. Injuries, suspensions, people coming back from injuries or suspensions or being cleared to play, units gelling or falling out with one another, etc. etc.

Fun for talk radio (and message boards) I guess. But not something I would bet the farm on.

He knows his football no doubt, but why anybody gets upset over football predictions is beyond me. If you like him or hate him or anyone else fine, but his opinion about who wins a football game shouldn't be making anyone mad because they disagree.

You obviously don't watch much football if you think that LSU has looked like it might be in the same league as Ole Miss. Vegas has little to do with facts - how did the line hold up in the MSU game? The line has a lot to do with history and we are getting some points based on past teams.

Lol

Mike D was spot on with the MSU and UK games

1-3 is not a crazy prediction for the rest of the way

Agreed. The fact is, Miles has never lost 3 in a row and two in a row only once in nearly 10 seasons. That is remarkable no matter how you slice it.
